Earlier this year I was hired to create the book cover art for author O.M. Grey's debut novel, "Avalon Revisited". I discuss my creative process for the cover of this Steampunk Paranormal Romance on my Blog: http://catherinesomerlot.com/blog/2010/04/the-making-of-the-avalon-revisited-cover/

This is no call for help to pay for college tuition or supplies as I have done in the past.  Those were simpler times, and it was silly to ask for people to buy prints for those reasons. Maybe that's why nobody did. This is much more serious. My husband has cancer. We had to drop the lives we were building in beautiful Seattle to move back home to Cleveland for a lengthy treatment process to try to beat this thing.  Medical bills are piling up and neither of us have steady income anymore.  We would greatly appreciate any support the amazing DeviantART community can give, by purchasing a print or two from my Print Store: http://photopixie.

Solo Exhibit

0 min read
I keep forgetting to mention here about my first solo gallery exhibit.  Yes, a real live exhibit, not something confined to the 0's and 1's of the Internet.  You can see my show here in my new home of Seattle, Washington at the Lynnwood Library Gallery.  If you're not in the area, you can read all about it on my blog! So far, no sales...so if you're interested in any of the pieces please do let me know.  It cost an arm and a leg to print, mat, and frame all 17 pieces.  Cost a lot of blood, sweat and tears, as well.
